Project Title: Delegation & Prioritization

Audience: Newly promoted team leads and mid-level managers in departments like product development, customer success, marketing, and operations.

Problem/Solution: StatusEdge Technologies has grown rapidly over the last three years, resulting in a large number of internal promotions. Many of the new managers are struggling to effectively delegate and prioritize. This is resulting in missed project deadlines, manager burnout due to task hoarding, and team members feeling underutilized or unclear on responsibilities.
Training should improve team productivity and manager effectiveness by equipping managers with skills and tools to delegate tasks appropriately and prioritize responsibilities effectively. This should decrease manager task load by 30%, have a 15% improvement of on-time project completion, and a 10% increase in team engagement.

Highlights: This self-paced course on Delegation and Prioritization for middle managers is grounded in adult learning principles, including relevance, autonomy, and immediate application. Learners are engaged through a mix of interactive elements such as drag-and-drop activities, click-to-reveal layers, and a scenario-based branching simulation that mirrors real workplace decision-making. Key concepts are chunked into digestible modules—from identifying what to delegate, to adapting delegation styles, to prioritizing work using frameworks like the Eisenhower Matrix and Impact/Effort Grid. The course includes knowledge checks throughout to reinforce retention and encourage reflection. A final performance-based assessment ensures transfer of learning, while a downloadable job aid supports continued use on the job. Learners also explore realistic scenarios, hear voiceover guidance, and interact with visually appealing, learner-driven navigation. The result is a highly practical, engaging experience that builds confidence and skill in two critical areas of leadership.

Process: This course was designed using the ADDIE model to ensure a learner-centered, performance-driven experience. During the Analysis phase, we identified middle managers as the primary audience and defined the performance gap: ineffective delegation and lack of strategic prioritization. In Design, we created detailed design documents and a storyboard that aligned terminal and enabling objectives with the business goals, incorporating adult learning principles and engaging strategies. The Development phase included building interactive Storyline modules with real-world scenarios, knowledge checks, and a performance-based assessment. To measure impact, we embedded Kirkpatrick Level 2 (learning) through the final quiz and Level 3 (behavior) via a post-course job observation and interviews.

Project Title: The Art of Giving Feedback

Audience: People Managers & Team Leads

Problem/Solution: Managers currently lack the skills, confidence, and frameworks to deliver effective feedback. This course is designed to improve individual and team performance by 20%, and improve employee retention by 15% by building a culture of effective feedback, where all employees can confidently give and receive timely, constructive, and actionable feedback.

Highlights: This Articulate Rise course, The Art of Giving Feedback, was designed using adult learning principles to ensure relevance, engagement, and practical application. The course is broken into concise, digestible lessons that reflect real-world challenges managers face, allowing learners to focus on one key concept at a time. To promote active learning, we incorporated interactive elements such as drag-and-drop activities, knowledge checks, and scenario-based decision points, which mirror actual feedback conversations. Learners are exposed to realistic workplace examples, step-by-step models like SBI and COIN, and visually engaging graphics that reinforce key takeaways. The course also emphasizes learner autonomy by allowing self-paced navigation and offering downloadable job aids for just-in-time support. Emotional safety and psychological realism are woven throughout with relatable personas and tone. The structure, flow, and visuals were intentionally designed to maximize retention, reinforce critical behaviors, and empower managers to implement feedback confidently.

Process: This course was developed using the ADDIE model, beginning with an analysis of the target audience, which included managers and team leads, and the core problem of inconsistent or ineffective feedback practices. In the design phase, clear learning objectives were aligned with performance needs, and content was organized into modules using proven frameworks like SBI and COIN. During development, detailed design documents and storyboards were created to guide the structure, interactivity, and visual elements of the course. Implementation focused on building the course in Articulate Rise to ensure a user-friendly and accessible experience. Finally, Level 2 (learning) and Level 3 (behavior) of Kirkpatrick’s Evaluation Model were incorporated through embedded knowledge checks and performance-based activities to support the transfer of learning into real-world application.
